I'm the Regional Director for the North at the Learning and Skills Development Agency , one of a team of nine.
My office is in Newcastle Upon Tyne, at the International Centre for Life.
The Learning and Skills Development Agency is a strategic national resource for the development of policy and practice in post-16 education and training. The Agency was previously known as the Further Education Development Agency (FEDA).
Speaking in Chapel Hill, North Carolina 1998Before returning to the North East in 1999, I was FEDA's Head of Regional and Economic Development, based in London, having joined the agency in 1996 from a senior post at Kent TEC. Prior to this I worked for the London Docklands Development Corporation and in the voluntary sector in London and the North East. I began my working career with Scottish and Newcastle Breweries.I'm also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and a Member of the Institute of Management ( MIMgt)
